Golf is a game of skill, accuracy and patience. Whether you are a 20+ handicapper playing only a couple times a year, or a scratch golfer who plays daily, having a certified golf professional observe and advise you through your swing and provide some pointers will always be of benefit.

Our CPGA certified instructors are here to help you before the big company tournament you’re playing in while visiting Kamloops, or if you are a local resident who wants to improve your game play with a series of 5 lessons.

The golf instruction at Tobiano is led by Head Golf Professional, Shannon McGeady. Only one of six female head golf professionals in BC, Shannon is driven toward igniting a passion for the game of golf.

She finds student success in learning a new skill and encouraging participation in a life-long sport like golf, one of her main motivating factors behind teaching and is excited to meet all the great people that come to visit Tobiano.

Carter Bradley

Carter Bradley is an Assistant Golf Professional at Tobiano Golf Course. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Carter took full advantage of Manitoba’s beautiful summers to ignite his love for the game. He turned professional and joined the PGA of Canada in 2020. While working towards his lifelong goal of becoming a Head Golf Professional, Carter aims to inspire others to grow and develop in their game. Carter assists players in reaching their potential by helping them become more skilled technically while teaching the ins and out of this amazing game. Carter brings a fun-loving attitude, patience and expertise, and thrives on helping others become the best that they can be.

Jordan hails from Northern Alberta and recently made the move to Kamloops. He became a PGA of Canada member in 2006 and has recently reignited his passion for teaching and the golf industry. Although he is more of a “feel” player, Jordan is very good at identifying technical problems in the golf swing and specializes in the mental side of the game. He really enjoys taking students through the thought process and course management required in golf. A self-taught golfer, Jordan is an aspiring touring professional, with a passion for inclusivity and growth in golf.

**Semi Private Lessons are one hour in length and consist of groups of 2-3 people.

Customized Corporate Group lessons and playing lessons are available by request.

  • If required rental clubs are provided for the duration of the lesson.
  • Dress Code: Proper golf attire is preferred.
    • We are a soft-spike only facility.
    • Hard-soled shoes, work boots and high-heeled shoes are not permitted.
    • Bathing suits, halter tops, crop tops, backless tops, spaghetti strap tank tops (straps thinner than 3”) and muscle shirts are not permitted.
    • T-shirts with offensive graphics or language are not permitted.
    • Bottoms or tops with rips or tears are not permitted.
  • Juniors receive 20% off instruction fees.
